The Statue of “Rotation”

A sculpture with the name “Rotation” which was presented on Venice Biennale 2010 now stands by the Justice House, on Khimshiashvili street. This kinetic monument, made of glass and metal, with changing expressions of emotions while moving in different directions, resembles a human face and body simultaneously.

“Rotation” expresses time which humans are unable to stop”- says the author of the sculpture Tamar Kvesitadze. The human face and body are displayed so that it bears a striking similarity to a jump in the water.
